The last information page was kind of TLDR so it’s in desperate need of revamping. For now, we’ll leave the #1 question right here and field the rest in the comments!

Can I link your site?

Of course! Have a button!

More will (presumably) come as we make more…. Presumably.

Can we translate your releases into another language?

Unfortunately we do not allow our releases to be translated into other languages. Over time we’ve begun focusing on translations that lean more toward adaptations, which means that they either wouldn’t make sense or aren’t suited to other languages. This is the call of Rebmastu, our translator. Our only exception to this rule is out of print series, such as Wild Arms: Flower Thieves, however, we ask that you first contact Melfra or Rebmastu (contact information on the staff page) for more information. Thank you!

Please wait at least 24 hours to upload these to reader sites!

And no, we’re not JUST being nazis about it (although, really, if it’s HQ you’re after, you’d be better using our site’s reader anyway. =P) The 24 hour wait time is in place in case any errors are caught with the first release by you readers, our secondary QC, as it were. Then, if necessary, we can upload a version two of our releases to correct any mistakes.

Commenting is enabled, so please ask if you’d like to know anything else!

can i suggest you a manga to translate it?

Fabulous question, m’dear! We’ll always consider recs, but we can’t make the call until we get a title. That said, HIT ME WITH YOUR BEST SHOT.

Thanks for translating Junketsu Kareshi! I’ve been reading it in Japanese but it’s refreshing to read it in English (and I can’t wait for 2013 vol.6). I understand that it does take time for the whole process so thanks for sticking with this. Haven’t seen anyone else translating this into English at present.

    Can you translate anything?

Definitely not. We’ll only translate stuff we want to.

When are you going to update Barajou no Kiss?

  7. Nannan says:

Hi! I have a manga suggestion for you guys. It’s called Kuutei Kaiko Toshi, here’s the manga updates link.
From the synopses the series is really interesting but also quite sad. The first chapter, oh wait, the prologue chapter was translated quite a while ago by Rayns&Lele Scans. But I’m not sure if they plan on releasing the other chapters any time soon. That said, I was wondering if you guys would be willing to pick it up? Or maybe a joint with Rayns&Lele Scans? Of course, that is if you guys have the time and desire for it. Thanks!

Just had to say, you guys are awesome and hilarious!
Just finished reading chapter 11 of Barajou no Kiss and saw the credits page.
    “Leeroy Jenkins!!!!”
Your translator notes on the end and this little gem – priceless. You are now officially my favorite scanslation team.

Hey, weird question, but I have a couple of really old magazine extras from Barajou no Kiss (Rosario Cards #1 and #2, which include a small collector’s card and a small notecard for each one), and was wondering if you guys would want them to use for a giveaway contest or something? I was closet-cleaning came across them, and thought I’d offer them up before throwing them away. Just send me an e-mail!

Hello. I have read Junketsu Kareshi and it is absolutely awesome.
Big thanks to you – I love it =)
but now I want to know, is the translation ongoing or was it dropped??
It is soooo sad, that I cant continue reading ;-) What do I have to do??
(In germany is not even vol 4 released… )
Please answer. And thank you ^^

Junketsu Kareshi is a very fun series! It has been licensed for English release by Yen Press, so we have stopped translating it. If it’s available in your country, please support Aya Shouoto by purchasing it!

  11. CC says:

Do you guys also have a email for contact purposes?

  12. Daisy says:

Hi! I was wondering (and hoping :P) if I could make a request – could you guys pick up Shinobi yoru Koi wa Kusemono please? :) It’s a very interesting manga, and the last group that was translating it became inactive :/ You guys are my last hope! >_< Here's the link:

    Thank you in advance :)

i love anime and manga!! *eyes sparkle* so i was wondering what we do on here and how to make ur own website

  14. harutora says:

    Are you accepting any joints?
If you are accepting, are you willing to help work on licensed projects?

    • Melfra says:

The answer there is no, and hell no!
We’ve tried joints in the past and came to the conclusion that we just didn’t really like how it worked out. So there’s that. As for licensed material, well, we just have a ‘no licensed series’ policy. Thanks for asking, though!
