General Discussion / Nintendo 3DS Announced!

In a not-so-shocking move, Nintendo has announced that their new handheld console is set for release by March 2011.

This new console is, perhaps tentatively, called the "3DS", and, as the name would imply, allows for 3D effects in gaming, supposedly without the need of 3D glasses!

Any other information is scarce, other than being backwards compatible with DS/DSi games, but you can bet your Wii that Nintendo will reveal more this Summer at E3.

More, rumored info:

    * Larger twin screens closer in proximity
    * High-powered, like a GameCube, with nVidia Tegra
    * Built-in accelerometer, akin to iPhone/iPod Touch
    * Utilizes carts like a DS

Keep in mind that not all of these are all 100% confirmed, but likely.

General Discussion / Man marries his DS in Guam.

Who doesn't like one or two videogame characters? We worship them and imagine what would it be if they really existed. However, we all know it's just not possible for that to happen. (Oh Lenneth and Shanoa, why do you make me cry so much!)

A man under the pseudonym of SAL9000 fell in love with Nene Anegasaki a character of the dating simulator Love Plus and last week, he took his Nintendo DS and copy of the game to the island of Guam, where he legally married to the virtual girl.

They will then hold a public wedding reception where family, friends and media are invited. And a slideshow of their time dating will be presented.


Why not?


Let's hope the husband isn't a jealous person, or else he will have a hard time controlling her wife, especially since these games are pretty common in Japan.

This game is awesome, it's a 3d fighter featuring and not limited to Nanoha and fate from Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, it's a great game and the fights are excellent but challenging. Lina inverse and Naga from Slayers also pop up as playble characters

and you know all we want are the slayers girls lol i have this game and i want to know if anyone else here does
