So yes, I agree, I felt the ending of the manga had far more thought put into it than 15 Dragon Slaves and that spell that Lina vowed never ever to cast again and probably couldn't control, or at least would get bitch slapped for tempting fate again, but no, everyone lived happily ever after. Except Pokota. But I don't care about him.
Slayers is super popular but if all the fans felt as let down as....well..... me, I think they might be searching in vain for another.
On the plus side it seems to have attracted some new fans that were still in their Pokemon days back when we first discovered the awesomeness that was Slayers. And fangirled indecently over Xellos.
