Well, much as I bitch about it, leveling's pretty tolerable. It's the actual editing that makes me want to punch puppies.

That font's freaking cute strider, I might actually beat you up for it.

Anyway, the way I've been doing it is taking that node to the upper right of the center, and dragging it down a little bit until it's even or below the second node. Well, I'm not sure how it'd work with so many anchor points, since photoshop just has 'em at the top and the bottom and when you move one the whole thing kind of sways.

BUT I'M SURE SOMEONE WHO DIDN'T JUST FIGURE OUT CURVES CAN EXPLAIN IT BETTER

I was messing around and added those nodes. gimp usually just has two at first, bottom left, and top right. I was messing around with it, but couldn't figure out how the curves relate to the info on the histogram in the curve grid.....I get how the grid works, but not how the info corresponds.... its easier to see in logarithmic mode. its a bit confusing....... :frustrated:.
