Summary:

On the eve of her sixteenth birthday, Kozue Hiyoki is visited in her dreams by a man who steals her heart- literally! Determined to find him and retrieve her stolen heart, Hiyoki, with the color of the man’s hair and the tattoo on his chest as her only leads, enrolls in the S-Hall dormitories of St. Nazareth Academy, but quickly realizes that its residents are not at all like she expected… For starters, they’re all guys! There, Hiyoki soon discovers that she has the ability to look inside her dorm-mates’ dreams, which may be the key to uncovering the identity of the thief who stole her heart…. But perhaps her biggest challenge is that most of the guys won’t let Hiyoki into their rooms, much less their hearts!

From Aya Shouoto, author of Barajou no Kiss, comes the tale of a girl, the black hole in her chest where her heart used to be, and the six guys she must sleep with in order to get it back!

    Barajou no Kiss is released every month on the 21st. As for SLH, well… We don’t have a set release schedule going on, but we’re working on it.

    hard drive error wiped out most of the second chapter the other day, so I have to redo the entire chapter. Hopefully the term “burnout” will allow me to forgo the rest of the explanation OTL

    Then buy the volume, grab a Japanese dictionary, and teach yourself how to read. We’re working as fast as we can with what limited resources we have.

  47. Hey, what does a cleaner do? I can’t translate but I could help if you need it.

    A cleaner’s job is to remove all the text from the raw pages before they’re typeset. The job ranges from really easy (just whiting out bubbles and making sure everything’s leveled properly) to ridiculously difficult (redrawing the areas where text is over an image). Well, at this point we’re getting a little desperate =P Why don’t you head over to the forum and give the test a shot? Even if you do the test and think you did poorly, we’re willing to work with you and help you improve! xD

    As we have said many, many, MANY times, WE NEED EDITORS FOR THIS PROJECT. As it says up there in the notes, “We need interested, dedicated editors/cleaners for this project before we can release any more chapters!”

    Not really… We have both editors and typesetters since we had a lot of people who couldn’t do both. Editors get rid of the original text by redrawing or cloning, whatever needs to be done, and also by cleaning up dust that the scanner might have missed

  115. I love this series it’s absolutely a-dor-a-ble~! I love in the omake of the first volume how the President was getting so frustrated trying to figure out what animal Hiyoki would have been. I THINK she was a deer but it was kinda hard to tell. Still its sooo cute. I really like how Kuga and Ren fight over her and she’s completely oblivious to it, even though Kuga’s been anything but subtle.

    It’s complete at 5 volumes, but we’re releasing a chapter every three weeks or so, less if we can make it. (Ideally every two.)

    In that case, the Russian scanlators took it upon themselves to correct the already existing “error” which was present in the original volume- the covers are originally printed in English, not Japanese, so we don’t do anything to them outside of the usual cleaning. As for the error, depending on your interpretation, the Leo/Virgo cusp can fall anywhere from August 19th to the 24th (usually with a difference of two days- the most widely accepted range is the 21st to the 26th, but I’ve seen it start as early as the 18th), making him technically both. Whether this is intentional or accidental is anyone’s guess, which leads me to believe that the other group’s correction of this was very irresponsible.

    That aside, thanks for the compliments, I’m glad you enjoy our releases =D

    Ah, if you look on mangaupdates.com, the haven for all your manga needs, it says that in Japan, there are 5 Volumes, and it is complete. I’m just guessing, but I think there are 20 chapters. S.L.H. is addicting, isn’t it? I hate waiting for scanlations.

    Seriously, though. I don’t understand why people have such a hard time waiting. It’s just a manga, and I know I for one can’t have a hobby monopolizing my entire life- I work several jobs, and many other members are either in school full time or juggle both. We can only keep doing releases because we have different “teams” for each series, and every team has different schedules. Usually it balances out, but not really in SLH’s case. You’ll just have to be patient; we working on it!

    What does ‘QCing’ mean?

    QC is short for “Quality check.” That means the chapter’s been edited, cleaned, translated, and typeset, so now the proof-readers are going over it to make sure the translation flows well, there aren’t any errors in the script, and the pages stand up to average Turtle quality. Basically, it’s the last step before the new chapters are put up for release. Generally a chapter will stay in QC queue between a week to two weeks before it’s released.

    If you’re going to insult the people that work their asses off to bring you your manga, then I suggest you find another source to read them. I don’t take kindly to people like you who insult my friends that I KNOW pull a lot of time and effort to bring these scans for the fans. It’s a lot of hard work. Check the forums, read the threads. IT’S NOT EASY.

    At least show some shame in what you’re saying. Common courtesy is NOT rocket science. Be mature enough to take the hint and back off. Breathe. There are a crap ton of mangas out there, read those while you wait for it to be released. You’ll live.
